What do you wear to a family photoshoot?
The simple answer? It’s entirely your choice! Your family photo shoot is designed to express your personality so wear whatever you feel best tells the story of who you are. If you do ask me for suggestions, I recommend staying away from any clothing with writing or large logos as this can take away from the overall effect we’re trying to achieve.
How do I prepare for my photoshoot?
I recommend doing some pre-planning to make the most of your family photography experience. Plan what you’ll wear so you’re not in a mad frenzy on the day. It will also give you an opportunity to see how your outfit compliments everyone else’. Believe it or not, simple outfits are best and I find that whites often work a treat creating a clean and fresh look.
Most importantly I want you to be comfortable with what you wear because this will ultimately reflect your personality.
Oh, and if you have small children, snacks are always a good idea! 
How many people make up a "family" photoshoot?
I typically cater for 2 adults and 3 children in my family photoshoots however I can accommodate small and large groups depending on your requirements.
Is the photoshoot indoors or outdoors?
My modelling portfolio and family photography shoots can take place either indoors or outdoors and are led entirely by you. I shoot at my studio or at your home, or outdoors in a location of your choice. I enjoy both photoshoots regardless, however if I had to pick, my personal favourite is always an outdoors shoot! There’s something about being in nature and the elements that enhance the overall look of an outdoors photo shoot. I also find my clients are more relaxed and their true personalities shine easily which makes my job all the more magical when I can capture these special moments through my lens.
What is lifestyle family photography?
Lifestyle photography, in its essence, is all about shooting families & individuals as they interact with each other, to capture truly authentic moments that aren’t “staged”.
Is hair and makeup included?
I offer hair and makeup services for some of my packages, with this also being an optional add-on for those who wish to enhance their photo shoot. Whether you’re a teen model looking to kick-start your career, or a mum wanting to pamper yourself for your family photoshoot, my hair and makeup artist, Anna will be sure to leave you looking (and feeling) absolutely beautiful!
How can I secure my booking?
A $50.00 deposit is required on booking your Photoshoot. This will lock in the date and time of your Photoshoot. This is not refundable, should you cancel but of course you can reschedule with no added fee.
