The direction of your portfolio will be dictated by the type of modelling you want to pursue (e.g. fashion, runway etc.). After deciding, you’ll need some professional photos to showcase your work. Whether you’re a child or teen model, it’s essential to create content that inspires your audience to follow you on your social media channels. I guide my clients to follow the models they aspire to be and to use this content as inspiration for what to include in their own portfolios. Agencies will also look at your Instagram profile as your “online portfolio” so it’s important to share modelling photos that showcase your personality and style so you’re on their radar.
I deliver a suite of high-resolution images to you after your photo shoot. This means you can adjust the size to suit almost any channel (i.e. print and digital)
The cost of a portfolio should not be extravagant, particularly as there is no need to dig deep into the pockets when you’re just starting out. This is why I offer a range of affordable packages (link to packages page) to help you realise your dreams!
Every kids modelling agency is different but most often, they’ll request a beauty shot, a few headshots and a full body shot, as well as a close-up shot.
I usually cover all bases and shoot a variety of different photos, so you are covered for all the different requirements. I recommend to do your research and check-in with any agencies that you’re keen to work with, so we can ensure we’re checking off all requirements.

When you book in to shoot photos for your modelling portfolio, I review any content you’ve shared and assess how I can inject some creativity to really make you stand out from the crowd. I’ll share some inspiration with you ahead of your shoot including some looks and poses that I think will enhance your profile and we’ll take it from there!
A $50.00 deposit is required on booking your Photoshoot. This will lock in the date and time of your Photoshoot. This is not refundable, should you cancel but of course you can reschedule with no added fee.
The simple answer? It’s entirely your choice! Your family photo shoot is designed to express your personality so wear whatever you feel best tells the story of who you are. If you do ask me for suggestions, I recommend staying away from any clothing with writing or large logos as this can take away from the overall effect we’re trying to achieve.
I recommend doing some pre-planning to make the most of your family photography experience. Plan what you’ll wear so you’re not in a mad frenzy on the day. It will also give you an opportunity to see how your outfit compliments everyone else’. Believe it or not, simple outfits are best and I find that whites often work a treat creating a clean and fresh look.
Most importantly I want you to be comfortable with what you wear because this will ultimately reflect your personality.
Oh, and if you have small children, snacks are always a good idea! 😊
I typically cater for 2 adults and 3 children in my family photoshoots however I can accommodate small and large groups depending on your requirements.
My modelling portfolio and family photography shoots can take place either indoors or outdoors and are led entirely by you. I shoot at my studio or at your home, or outdoors in a location of your choice. I enjoy both photoshoots regardless, however if I had to pick, my personal favourite is always an outdoors shoot! There’s something about being in nature and the elements that enhance the overall look of an outdoors photo shoot. I also find my clients are more relaxed and their true personalities shine easily which makes my job all the more magical when I can capture these special moments through my lens.

I offer hair and makeup services for some of my packages, with this also being an optional add-on for those who wish to enhance their photo shoot. Whether you’re a teen model looking to kick-start your career, or a mum wanting to pamper yourself for your family photoshoot, my hair and makeup artist, Anna will be sure to leave you looking (and feeling) absolutely beautiful!
